Back to Living

As you no doubt have noticed I have not posted since January 26, 2005 and for that I apologize immensely. A nice little Ambulance ride or so they told me the next day, “minor” surgery, a seven day stay in the hospital sometimes lucid sometimes not, and to this day a long convalescence keeps me from looking and reading of the daily news much less having the energy to read my favorite blogs.

Whether or not I continue with my two blogs or simply drop one and stay with the other, I have yet to decide but the time for making a decision is very, very close. In all honesty, my disease is progressing even if it is slower than originally predicted but the effects on my memory and physical condition are visibly evident nonetheless.

If I do drop a blog, From the Hart is my first choice – it deals more with national political happenings while “Barber Shop” deals primarily with local and statewide items of interest. Nevertheless, I am leaning towards keeping “Barber Shop” and concentrating on what energy I have left to my state and local community.

Let me get back to you in the next few days with my decision and even if I drop one I will, transfer particular posts over that relate to the theme of the selected blog.
